Slow the game down. I created a team where generally the forwards speed was around 50. And backs at 90. The gameplay seemed more realistic. Where forwards focused more on their strength and force. And were slower in defense out wide. this change helped bring out the pace of the backline where the difference in speed and acceleration really came out.
The back line could then run rings around most forwards but if caught, the tackles were crunching.
When the game was slowed down phase play seemed more organized and fluid.
The only complicated thing is when we have flankers and no.8s that run as fast as backs. Not sure how to do them justice.
