I think an easy way to get rid of the very wide inside passes across the field through traffic is to simply significantly limit the distance in which you can pass if you are moving/facing one direction and trying to pass the other way. Anyone who has played or watched enough rugby will know the furthest an inside ball will go is 5m as it is far to generate any force across your body when running in the opposite direction. Much like pulling the forwards speed back in the game I think the same should be done at least to the tight 5 with their passing ability to at least promote you using your actual playmakers and great passers of the ball. Also to avoid the hot potato rugby that seems to happen when you have 10 offloads in a row is to pull everyones offloading ability right back and then make it a noticeable feature for certain players in a team such as SBW, Beale, Cruden, Piatau etc. Offloads in a real game so often lead to line-breaks, in RC4 (and earlier versions) it just leads to continuous play with no rucks and messy rugby.
