Forwards should have a higher chance in breaking a tackle from a backs player unless your backs are of the calibre of those like Tuisova. Also, lets not forget those backs who are smaller in size but a renowned for their tackling technique. For example, Matt Giteau and Berrick Barnes. I know that they are not in the game but point is, they are smaller in size and could tackle a rampaging forward on occasions. They ore safe tacklers who usually go for technique over brute strength. If this is implemented, players will be able to make miss matches in terms of players ability to run over a tiny back or picking the best defensive back to stop a rampaging forward. This is a great idea guys. Think about it because forwards in the past 3 games have not felt like forwards and backs like Tuisova and Kerevi do not feel like those big ball carriers in the backline.

Thanks for your suggestion here @mckellardenzyl !
Just reminding you of this post my man lol. This is important and would really change how we would strategize in the game. :)
I think this is a good idea, but like the change in speed they've made for the forwards, if it's not done properly it could drastically alter the game, as the forwards are now generally too slow for my liking and it kind of ruins the game a little bit for me.
I think that it would be better if it was an additional slider we could adjust, so you would be able to set up the gameplay to your own preference, or a special ability you could add to certain players that would give them a stat boost, like it was in rugby 08, eg playmaker, tackle breaker, tackler etc.
Thanks again for your feedback on this 🙂
