So pre patch I downloaded one of the Scotland teams from the fanhub and linked it to the in game Scotland team. Decided to delete that team and just replace the players in the in game team, so I unlinked the team, deleted the downloaded Scotland team, and then tried to delete the individual players who were in the team, only to get a message that I couldn't delete the players because they are in Argentina. I checked and they definitely are not in Argentina, so looks like I'm stuck with those players.
This is the kind of database issue that has carried over from the last game!
I have one theory on this I noticed. When I edited no name unlicensed players in Aus Cup and then didn’t want them anymore, I tried to delete the player. It came up with that message that refers to players in Argentina team. Even the players are not in there or any other team. I think that custom players edited , uploaded onto Fanhub , can then, not be deleted If downloaded. Its an unfortunate issue at this time. Same for if you edit when in your own player roster and then try to delete it , the system won’t let you. It seems to only let you delete players created from scratch. If player does not have a censored name tag in FanHub for team it means it’s been edited and could be one of these players that won’t delete. Hopefully these players won’t cause any further issues for you or affect your rosters or games.
That seems like a pretty good theory. Bit of a pain, might mean I just have to edit those players I can't delete into some created new players. Shows that the current database model that they're using still isn't totally stable unfortunately!
Another issue with the linking players is actually getting to the player in the list to link. Because I've done a fair amount of editing, the game has automatically linked a lot of players, so the list is quite long, and scrolling through it one button press at a time takes forever, especially as it makes the background animations lag. Can a search facility be added like the one used when finding players to edit to make this process much quicker?

We should have a nationality filter for searching players so we can sort them by nationality.
