Overall a solid base of gameplay to build on with some tweaks and refinements. good job WW.
Gameplay:
Teammates running: often when trying to create a handball chain, my teammate will run too close to me and will immediately get tackled once receiving the ball. Perhaps a shephard mechanism could be implemented (especially for 3+ multiplayer) or players running patterns shouldn't be so close.
Bump/hip & shoulder: using the hip and shoulder button over a loose ball just makes both players stand still once the bump is completed and the opponent will get the ball anyway, making this button almost useless. it is also way too hard to use it in a marking contest so should probably be scrapped.
Clearance kicks: opposition clearance kicks seem to stay afloat in the air until a player is there to mark it, almost like it is glued to that player.
Stamina: when chasing a loose ball, no matter how far ahead my player is or their stamina/attributes, the opposition will more than likely beat me to the ball.
FF positioning: the FF tends to stay in the goal square for a majority of i50's and parts of the game, which is unrealistic to the modern game.
Rucking: the CPU is able to take the ball out of the ruck like a mark and run 10m without being touched. the ability for a user to take the ball out of the ruck would be helpful. winning ruck contests is frustrating when you cant really control where the ball will go or how far it goes. teammates stand around the contest instead of moving around like the real game.
Throwing the ball: this free kick is often paid when picking up a loose ball with no teammate around you, which doesn't really make sense.
B.O.G: votes are often given to the players with the most tackles > goals or disposals. this is not realistic and while tackles should be considered, a player with 10 tackles shouldn't get more votes than a player with 22 disposals or 5 goals.
Career mode:
Performing players: the board tells me the best players from a win but they are actually the worst 3 and vice versa, from a loss it says underperforming players but is always the top 3 players.
Guernsey creator:
the generic AFL logo needs to be added to league logos, i can't see how this could be a licensing issue when every other league's logo is in the game.
team logos should be the one's used on guernseys, not the official media logos e.g. Gold coast use just the GC monogram instead of "GC Suns". Common logos such as the 'lion' Brisbane use and 'roo' North Melbourne use should also be available in order to truly create historic guernseys and enhance the experience.
these guernseys are pretty much useless unless we can use them in exhibition mode, competition, career and online for pre-existing teams. (rather than having to create an entirely new team and recruit 22 players.)
