I just played a game on 10 minute quarters. I have the performance on low. It was running smoothly until the 2nd half where it was so choppy it was almost as if I was playing an online game.
Hey ZaneCornelius, we are continuing to work on frame rate issues and are aiming to continue to improve it for future updates. During the last update we added various graphical options that you can turn off in order to improve your framerate in the meantime while we continue to improve this area of the game.
I noticed this last night, with a game that transitioned from day->evening... by the 4th quarter (on 5min quarters) it was really choppy.
I turned off shadows, and saw it run much better immediately.
funnily enough I turned shadows back on...but it didn’t go back to a choppy framerate...it looked fine!
so yeah, maybe the shadows have a memory leak in them... turning them off flushes them... and so you can turn them back on without issue. That’s my theory! Haha.

Here‘s a video showing that difference.
Turn everything off in the graphics settings and it should run like a treat!
