I only have access to single match and training.
While the game is still downloading, limited modes are playable. After the game has finished downloading completely other modes will be available.
How do I get updated player ratings?
Before updating your data be aware that it is completely optional and does not require a patch and also this will completely overwrite all your existing player and team changes (except for your existing Career and Competition saves, these will remain unchanged)
To update your player data in AFL Evolution 2, simply go into AFL Gameday and press Triangle for PS4, Y for Xbox One or X on Nintendo Switch to start the Evo Data update and follow the prompts.
My team lineups keep changing in competition or coach mode.
You can disable this behaviour by adjusting the setting in: Coach mode:
Settings->Manager Settings->Team Lineup setting to not be full auto
Competition mode:
Competition Settings->Team Lineup setting to not be full auto
I can't hear the game commentary
The commentary is set to come out of the central speaker for surround sound setups.
If your sound configuration is set up to use a central speaker but you don't have one connected
this issue can occur. Adjusting your speaker setup should solve this issue.
My PS4 X/O buttons don't work correctly in the menus
This is an issue with PS4s that have a region where the X/O button is swapped (such as Japan)

Xbox One: screen flickers black/multi-coloured.
We'll be looking into this in an upcoming patch. This issue can be fixed by changing your options:
Options->Graphics->Bloom: Set this to Off
Players are unable to pick up the ball and swarm around it.
We'll be looking into this in an upcoming patch. As a temporary workaround when this issue occurs, you can pause and unpause the game to solve this problem.
My scoreboard is off the edge of my TV and I can't see it properly.
This can be fixed by adjusting your tv settings or by changing your game options:
Options->Visual->Hud Overdraw Mode: Set this to On
One of the players has an incorrect position or other problem with their information
Please check to see you are using the latest version of the game and have the latest Evo data (see earlier question). If there's still a problem feel free to report it in this thread
