Creating a custom team does not mix well with updating evo data. I have created 6 custom teams that I'd like to be able to use at AFL level when I want. But the problem is that most of the new teams players are gotten from lower leagues and I pump up their stats to make the team viable at AFL level. After updating data their ratings go back down to what they originally were making it so I have to change all their stats again which is very time consuming. There's also the problem with getting existing AFL players into new teams. When I update data it just creates a duplicate of them in the team they came from which seems kinda silly when you play with these two teams and there's two of the same guy running around.
I understand that there's a warning that comes up but is it possible to have some kind of protection for the custom teams we create? I don't like players stats reverting and I don't like duplicated players because it kinda makes the game a little too goofy for me. I always like to be up to date but maybe I just need to not update? What would I actually miss out on for not updating?
