I've noticed that after a few years of coach career mode in the AFL that the amount of players on each team's list keeps going up. After 4 years, every team had the maximum 60 players and trading became impossible, and every team skipped their pick in the draft. I think it's because there's a rule where each team has to spend the entirety of their salary cap
Is this being looked at already?
Hi @d1,
Thanks for reporting this issue. Each team is required to spend the salary floor amount on their players. The salary floor is 95% of the salary cap (or Total Player Payments). However this is not intended to result in teams constantly gaining more players. We've made a fix(available in an upcoming patch) related to teams not re-contracting enough of their existing players, but we haven't done a specific fix relating to teams accumulating too many players. I'll pass this on to the dev team for us to look into.
