So I just bought the game - a few Questions
1 - How do I set a theme song for my custom team?
2 - What camera do I need to select for me to be able to move it? I want to be able to see who's behind me, sideon etc - I can only seem to move the camera when kicking out from goal.
3 - Anyway to "Slow" the game down? I can't seem to just chip the ball around, I'm missing players or kicking it too far.
4 - Anyway to change the scores in the corner & show it like it does on TV? Its way too big.
Also, why doesn't it show the score after kicking a goal or point like it does on TV? It did this is AFL Evo 1 - why would you change it? (same can be said as the big ass scoreboard in the corner.
So far, so good with the game.
Hey @Community Manager Jack
Thank you so very much for the detailed reply - very, very much appreciated. "If you are talking about the numbers changing on the scoreboard this does change, but only once the ball returns to the centre bounce. "
Correct - will there be any update that will change this? It's always good for the score to pop up after a goal or point as it does on TV - just adds to the atmosphere of the game, in my opinion :)
Hey @LeeLooKorben thanks for your post and all your questions. Hopefully I can provide some insight into this and answer your questions.
1. At the moment we don't currently have a way of selecting a team song. If you are looking for how to add commentary names for your teams there's a thread here with a full list of commentary names recorded so that you can add them to your team. https://www.wickedsports.com.au/community/main/comment/5ecf15f01a75db002e6d93db
2. We are currently working on a couple of camera changes in an upcoming update which will hopefully provide more flexibility to how players can view the ground. We don't currently have a "moveable" camera just yet but will have something that hopefully makes navigating the field a bit easier coming shortly.
3. If you're struggling to slow the game down by hitting targets, you can try switching the ball across the ground. You should always have a defender who pushes hard back behind the ball to give you some space when you have possession of the ball. You can also use the RB/R1 button to lock onto targets to get a bit more accuracy with your kicking and then you only have to worry about the power.
4. As for the scoreboard, you'll find it mimicks the look of the main free to air broadcaster in Australia, so it does appear how it does on the TV. In reference to your last question if you are talking about the replays, we have a new default setting that only shows replays occasionally, you can change this in the settings and turn it to on if you would always like to see the replay. If you are talking about the numbers changing on the scoreboard this does change, but only once the ball returns to the centre bounce.
Hopefully this helps to answer your questions, if you've got any more feel free to ask!
